All About
Ms. Julie Williams
My name is Julie Williams. I was married to my husband, Dan for 28 years. We have three children. Caitlin , Molly, and Clark. My step-daughter, Camilla and her husband have given us two beautiful grand-daughters, Lauren and Lindsey. They live in Austin, TX . Caitlin and her husband have given me four precious grands. They are a Navy family currently stationed in Fallon, NV. I am an empty nester with the baby of our family at UTK.
I graduated with my BS in Elementary Ed. from the University of TN, Knoxville with Art Ed. as my concentration. I earned my Masters in Reading from Nova Southeastern University. I have added 30 post graduate hours from U of M and Cumberland University. I also have earned my endorsement in Gifted Education. This is my 27th year teaching. I took a bit of time off when my children were younger to be a stay at home mom, room mother, and serve on the PTA Board at Collierville Elementary. I love to teach and have a passion for learning.
When I am not at school I love to paint, sew, smock, garden, and read. My family spends a lot of time outside. I love history and have had a great time learning about my family history. I grew up near Kentucky Lake in Paris, TN. My parents started the business, Allegro Steak Marinade. I spent my college summers working in the Tetons in Wyoming. I love traveling to the beach and mountains as a family now. I work at Menagerie Farm Camp during the summer.
Our family has undergone some changes during the past few years. My husband had a brain tumor removed in April 2012, and lost his battle with brain and spinal cancer on Aug. 23, 2014. We have been so amazed by the way our Dogwood family lifted us up in prayer, financial and positive energy!
It is wonderful to be part of this school family!
